Ruth Wysocki (Caldwell)

Ruth Wysocki, formerly Ruth Caldwell, was a member of the Citrus College Athletics Hall of Fame Inaugural Class in 2024. Wysocki ran cross country and track and field at Citrus and won back-to-back State Cross Country Championships in 1977 and 1978. She was a two-time conference cross country Runner of the Year and was named the Citrus College Most Outstanding Athlete in both her years as an Owl. Wysocki also won the 800-meter and 1500-meter State Championships both years in the spring before going on to compete at the Olympics. She was inducted into the 3C2A Hall of Fame in 1998.
