Skip Claprood

Claprood was inducted into the second Citrus College Atheltics Hall of Fame in 2025. Claprood coached the Citrus Baseball team for 30 years from 1972-2002 where he ranks 3rd All-Time in the State and 1st All-Time in Citrus history with 772 wins. Coach Claprood won 14 conference championships and saw over 150 of his players get drafted, 14 of which played in the MLB. Claprood was inducted into the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2004.
