Bio

Valencia Hamilton joined the Citrus College Athletics staff during the 2018-2019 academic year. Hamilton came to the Owls after previously working for other California Community Colleges in El Camino College, Compton College, and Cypress College. 

A native of the Bay Area, Hamilton earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from California Lutheran University in 2015. Upon graduation Hamilton enrolled at Chapman University, where she went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Athletic Training. In 2017 Hamilton became NATABOC Certified. 

Outside of her extensive community college experience, Hamilton has also served as a Preceptor for Long Beach State, and was an intern for USA Volleyball in 2016, the same year, both men’s and women’s teams won Bronze Medals at the Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. 

When she’s not in the clinic or on the sideline, Hamilton enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and cooking. An avid fan of the Oakland Raiders, Hamilton was a winner on the Price is Right in 2016.
