WHAT WE DO 

The Citrus College Basketball Summer Day Camp provides a sound foundation for beginners and a very strong challenge to advanced players. An energetic and experienced staff will give detailed attention to individuals in the areas of ball handling, passing, dribbling, footwork, defense, shooting, and rebounding. 

Our teaching emphasis is bigger than basketball. We teach self-esteem, defense, dribbling, rebounding, team play, positive communication, and work ethic. We also conduct shooting contests, free throw contests, team games, and one-on-one championships. Guest speakers will also be a focal point of the camp. 

Our experienced coaches and camp counselors have been selected because they know and love basketball, along with their proven ability to effectively teach the game. Thank you for helping us make the Citrus College Basketball Camp “A Summer Tradition.”

CAMP INFORMATION 

Session 1: June 3-7 | Session 2: June 10-14 | Session 3: June 17-21

The Citrus College Youth Basketball Summer Camp costs $185 per session and runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with early drop off at 8 a.m. and late pick up until 3 p.m. available. All camp sessions take place at the Citrus College Gymnasium: 1000 W. Foothill Blvd., Glendora, CA 91741. 

ABOUT THE COACH 

Brett Lauer just finished his seventh season (168-48) with the Owls. Under Lauer’s leadership, the Fighting Owls have won six conference championships in seven seasons and qualified for the 3C2A postseason every year, including back-to-back trips to the final championship site in 2022 and 2023.

WHAT TO BRING 

Basketball shoes, bottled water and lunch, towel and swimsuit*, and a great attitude! *Swimming is an optional activity. All swimmers will be supervised by certified lifeguards.
