Glendora, CA -- The Citrus College Baseball team suffered its third straight loss on Thursday afternoon when they hosted Mt. San Antonio College in a break from WSC South action. The Owls managed just six hits and committed a pair of errors as they fell 6-2.

The Owls played from behind on Thursday as Mt. SAC ran out to a 2-0 lead after four innings, thanks to runs in the top of the second and the fourth. Citrus would cut the lead in half in the bottom of the fourth via a sacrifice fly to center field from freshman Taylor Grace scoring sophomore Matthew Reynoso, but the Mounties went right back up by two with another score in the top of the fifth.

Citrus would pull back to within one in the bottom of the sixth when freshman Troy Resch singled the first pitch he saw to center field scoring sophomore Jonathon Reynoso, but that would be the final run of the day for the Owls while Mt. SAC went on to score three more.

With the loss, Citrus falls to 18-15 on the year. The Owls have just three games remaining on their 2014 schedule starting with Tuesday's contest versus Glendale College at 2:30 PM at Citrus.
