Santa Clarita, CA - The College of the Canyons Baseball team continued its recent hot streak and jumped all over the Owls Baseball program on Tuesday afternoon in a 15-5 loss for Citrus. The Cougars scored 8 of their 15 runs in the first two innings and never looked back.

Before Citrus could even settle in, the Owls found themselves in a massive hole. Citrus did manage a trio of scores in the top of the third, on a home run to left by sophomore Marcos Campos. Campos would homer again in the top of the eighth as did freshman Benjamin Aguilera, but that was all the offense the Owls mustered as the Cougars scored seven more runs over their final four innings of work.

With the loss, Citrus drops to 18-15-2 overall and 8-5-1 in WSC East play. The Owls will try and get back on track on Thursday when they host the Cougars at 2:30 PM.
