Glendora, CA - Former Citrus College Baseball player Kyle Dohy saw his professional dreams come true recently as he was drafted in the 16th round of the Major League Baseball Draft last week. Dohy was selected with the 473rd pick of the event, by the Philadelphia Phillies.

Dohy, a 6'1 left hander, appeared in five games for the Owls (all starts), during the 2016 season. In his five appearances, Dohy went 1-2, posting a 3.98 ERA in 20.1 innings worth of work with 32 strikeouts. This past season, Dohy transferred to NCAA DII Cal Poly Pomona where he went 6-3 for the Broncos, with 89 punch outs in 79.2 innings on the hill.
