Ryan Harney began his collegiate career this year, but it unfortunately was cut short due to COVID-19.

Prior to the season being canceled, the five-foot-11 pitcher made eight appearances, including six starts and grabbed his first career win with a 12-2 victory over Antelope Valley College on March 5. He pitched 20.1 innings and had 14 strikeouts over his eight games on the mound.

The freshman kinesiology major graduated from Upland High in 2019 where he was named the Pitcher of the Year. Harney is a hard-working student-athlete and looks to find a way to get better every day, hoping to get back to the mound in 2021 ready to help Citrus pick up where it left off.
