Citrus College scored first but Cypress College battled back to grab a 2-1 win Sunday afternoon.
The Owls slip to 4-9 on the year, while the Chargers improve to 10-3.
Connor Green was the lone scorer for the Owls, knocking a solo home run in the bottom of the second to give the Owls an early lead.
The Chargers battled back and capitalized in the fourth and fifth innings to jump in front by one.
Citrus kept battling and tried to rally in the ninth, putting two runners on with two outs, but Cypress shut down the comeback effort to secure the 2-1 result.
Andrew Granados threw seven innings on the mound, striking out four batters.
The Owls head to Golden West College on Thursday for a 2 p.m. contest.
