Citrus College closed out its non-conference schedule Saturday afternoon with a 9-2 loss to Golden West College.
The Owls drop to 8-22 overall while the Rustlers improve to 18-13 on the year.
Connor Green and Jin Hattori led the Owls offensively, each finishing with two hits. Green went 2-for-5 while Hattori had a 2-for-2 showing at the plate with one run scored. Roman Robles (1-for-3) scored the other run for the Owls, while Devon Diaz, Diego Gonzales, and Aaron Martinez also had hits in the game.
Citrus returns to Western State Conference action on Tuesday, hosting Glendale College at 2:30 p.m.
