Citrus College dropped the second game of the Western State Conference series 12-8 to Glendale College Friday afternoon.
The Owls slip to 8-24 overall and 4-10 in conference action, while the Vaqueros improve to 24-9 on the year and 13-1 in WSC play.
Connor Green led the Owls with a 3-for-4 performance at the plate, scoring one run and batting in another. He also drew one walk. Chad Green, Diego Gonzales, Roman Robles, and Isaiah Pacheco also had hits in the game.
The Owls and Vaqueros close out the three-game series on Saturday at Citrus with first pitch set for 1 p.m.
