Citrus College closed out the 2023 season Friday afternoon with a 12-10 loss at the College of the Canyons.
The Owls finish the year at 11-28, 7-14 in Western State Conference, while the Cougars improve to 22-16 overall and 13-8 in conference. Citrus still earned its second conference series victory after winning the first two games in the series.
Seven Owls finished with hits in the game, including three Owls with two hits: Chad Green (2-for-3), Connor Green (2-for-4) and Jared Gener (2-for-5). Both of Chad Green's hits were home runs, while Connor Green also had a long ball.
