Citrus College opened its season Saturday afternoon but couldn't hold off Pasadena City College in a 10-2 loss.
The Owls begin the year at 0-1, while the Lancers improve to 1-1.
Citrus had three hits in the game with two coming from Mario Catalan (2-for-4), while Connor Green also had a hit for the Owl. The pair also had RBIs on the day as Alex Hernandez and Matthew Santiago scored the two runs.
The Owls look to bounce back on Wednesday as they host El Camino College at 2 p.m.
