Citrus College and San Bernardino Valley College went blow for blow, but the Wolverines came out on top with an 18-10 victory Tuesday afternoon.
The Owls slip to 5-3 on the year, while the Wolverines improve to 3-7 overall.
Citrus finished with 12 hits in the game with two Owls posting three hits. Connor Green and Luke Willison each went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and one RBI, while Sean Rooney finished with two hits and two runs. Mario Catalan, Nathan Hellein, Alex Hernandez, and Derek Leader also had hits for the Owls.
Citrus returns home to host Oxnard College on Thursday at 2 p.m.
