Citrus College picked up its second-straight win with a 9-4 victory over Chaffey College Friday afternoon.
The Owls improve to 7-3 overall, while the Panthers drop to 3-6 on the year.
Multiple Owls had hits in the game, led by Connor Green's 3-for-4 showing at the plate. Jaden St. Cyr (2-for-5), Nathan Hellein (2-for-4), Mario Catalan (2-for-4), and Derek Leader (1-for-4) also had hits in the game.
Citrus didn't have to dig deep in the bullpen, only throwing two pitchers. Andrew Granados threw seven strikeouts to pick up the win on the mound, while Reece Harney grabbed his third save of the year.
The Owls look to carry momentum into Saturday's noon contest at Pasadena City College and avenge their first loss of the year.
