Citrus College struck first but couldn't hold on in a 6-4 loss to Pasadena City College Saturday afternoon.

The Owls slip to 7-4 on the year, while the Lancers improve to 7-4 overall.

PCC answered with a run in the bottom of the third, but the Owls upped their lead to 4-1 off an RBI single from Quintero and an RBI fielder's choice from Joshua Cortinas in the top of the fourth.

The Lancers pulled off a big fourth inning to tie and take the lead, holding on for the 6-4 result.
