Citrus College only got four hits Friday, but it was enough to beat Ohlone College 5-4 in nonconference action.

The Owls improve to 8-4 overall, while the Renegades slip to 7-6 on the year.

Mario Catalan had a game for the Owls, going 3-for-4 with one run and three RBIs, while Nathan Hellein posted Citrus' other hit. Jaden St. Cyr stole three bases for the Owls.

Alex Mendez picked up the win on the mound, while Ryan Harney grabbed his fourth save.

Ohlone struck first with two runs in the top of the first, but Catalan blasted a base hit to left to score two runners to even things up.

The Renegades went back up by two with two runs in the sixth, but once again the Owls had a response. With one out and a runner on, Hellein doubled to score one before coming home on a wild pitch.

Citrus took the lead in the seventh off another RBI single from Catalan and held on for the 5-4 victory.

The Owls and Renegades face off again on Saturday at 1 p.m.
