Citrus College couldn't hold off Cypress College in a 16-3 loss Tuesday afternoon.
The Owls slip to 8-6 overall, while the Chargers improve to 11-3 on the year.
Collectively, Citrus had eight hits in the game, but it wasn't enough to overcome Cypress' 19 hits. Chase Bernal led the Owls with a 2-for-4 performance at the plate, while Mario Catalan, Jordan Sheridan, Nathan Hellein, Luke Willison, Jordan Quintero, and Jason Armendariz also had hits.
Citrus has one last road contest before beginning Western State Conference action and heads to Riverside City College on Friday at 1 p.m.
