Citrus College posted a season high number of runs in a dominating 23-10 victory over Antelope Valley College on Thursday. The Owls improve to 13-10 and 5-3 in WSC South play on the year, while the Marauders drop to 10-11 overall and 2-6 in conference action.
Citrus finished with twenty-three hits in the game with eleven different Owls posting hits. Leading the way with a 7 RBI performance was Jordan Quintero. Mario Catalan was an impressive 5 of 6 from the plate with 3 RBI's of his own. Jaden St. Cyr delivered 3 RBI's, a home run, and scored 4 runs of his own.
On the mound, five different Owls pitchers would see action with Andrew Granados picking up the win making him 4-3 on the year.
Citrus will look to keep their bats alive Friday and complete the series sweep as they host Antelope Valley. First pitch is set for 2:30 p.m.
