Mounties Manage Comeback Over Owls

Citrus College jumped out to an early lead, but couldn't hang on in a 12-5 loss to open the series against Mt. San Antonio College Tuesday Afternoon. The Owls slip to 13-12 overall, while the Mounties improve to 15-11 on the year.
Jaden St. Cyr had a stellar game, going 3-for-5 at the plate with three runs, two home runs, two RBIs, and two stolen bases. St. Cyr got the Owls going early and propelled them to a 5-0 lead after four innings.
The Mounties would respond with a six run inning in the fifth to take a 6-5 lead. The Owls would be unable to respond as the Mounties continued to extend their lead and eventually take the win 12-5.
The Owls will be back in action this Thursday at home in the second game of the series against Mt. San Antonio College. First pitch is set for 2:30 p.m.
