Citrus College lost to LA Valley Thursday afternoon 23-7. The Owls fall to 13-16 overall and 5-6 in conference, while the Monarchs improve to 24-6 overall and 10-1 in conference.
The Owls were led by Mario Catalan who went (2-for-4) at the plate with one RBI and scored two runs. Nathan Hellein was also (2-for-4) at the plate and scored a run.
The Owls will be back in action at home on Saturday against the Monarchs to close the series. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
