Citrus College Baseball traveled to San Bernardino Valley College yesterday, suffering a 5-2 defeat to the Wolverines
Citrus College goes to 3-5 overall on the season while San Bernardino Valley College moves to 4-7 overall on the year.
The Owls scored in the top of the first inning to go up 1-0 off a Derek Leader RBI to score Dustin Yela. The Wolverines responded in the bottom of the second inning with one run before adding four runs in the bottom of the third inning to go up 5-1. Sebastian Ancheta hit a sacrifice fly to score Luke Willison in the top of the eighth inning which ended up being the Owls final run scored.
Citrus College will return home this Friday, February 14th as they host Oxnard College at 2 p.m.
