Glendora, CA -- Citrus College sophomore Isaiah Kepley was named the Central Conference Special Teams/All-Purpose Player of the Week this week for his play at Long Beach City College this past weekend. It's the third time this year Kepley has earned the award.

Kepley got the nod after he went 2 for 4 in field goal attempts on Saturday, drilling a 24 yarder and then also hitting a program record 52 yard field goal in the first half. Kepley broke the previous record of 49 yards set in 2010 by Travis Coons who is know the kicker at the PAC-12's University of Washington.

In addition to the 52 yarder, Kepley was a perfect 5 for 5 on extra point attempts, and also caught a team high four passes for 45 yards averaging 11.2 yards a catch in Citrus' 43-24 victory.

It's the fifth straight week that a Citrus player earned Player of the Week honors, and the sixth time overall that an Owls won the award this season. Kepley and the rest of the Owls will be back home on Friday night when they close out the regular season against LA Harbor College. Kickoff is set for 6:00 PM.
