Glendora, CA -- A total of 18 athletes were listed on the Southern California Football Alliance National Division Central Conference All-Conference list. The Owls had three first team representatives, six second team representatives, and nine honorable mention honorees.

Sophomore wide receiver and kicker Isaiah Kepley was Citrus' lone offensive representative on the 1st team. Kepley put his name all over the record books this season, hauling in 51 passes for a team high 752 yards and a team high 8 touchdowns, just two away from the single season record. In addition Kepley had a hand in 114 points this year which is tying the  all time single season record of 114 set in 1990 and tied back in 2003.

In addition, Kepley has left his mark in the career record books with 73 total receptions (3rd all-time), 954 yards receiving (4th all-time), and 10 receiving touchdowns (2nd all-time). Kepley also has 142 career points which is the new program record for most points in a career. Kepley also broke the record for longest field goal in a game against Long Beach City College when he booted a 52 yarder.

On the defensive side of the ball, two individuals were put on the 1st team, sophomore defensive back Rodney Mathews and sophomore punter Chris Laros. Laros has had an outstanding 2012 season, with over 50 punts for over 2,000 yards. Laros is averaging 41.1 yards per kick, the fifth best mark in the State, and the 3rd best single season average in program history.

Laros also booted a program record 75 yarder earlier in the season against Chaffey, and has forced 9 fair catches and kicked 10 balls inside the 20 yard line without being blocked. In his career, Laros boasts a 39.8 punt average, the second best in program history. Laros was a unanimous selection to the 1st team.

Mathews meanwhile has left his mark on the program as well. This year, Mathews leads the team with 54 solo tackles, a program record, and has added 35 assisted tackles for a team high 89 tackles on the year. In addition, Mathews has three tackles for a loss this year, three interceptions and four pass break-ups.

In his career Mathews is first all-time with 94 solo tackles and is third all-time with 158 career total tackles. Additionally, Mathews is second in program history with nine career interceptions and third in program history with 14 pass break-ups in his two seasons on the gridiron for Citrus.

Along with the three first teamers were the six second team representatives, three on each side of the ball. On offense, two years starter on the Owls' offensive line Andrew Hall got the nod. As did sophomore wide receiver Michael Ball who was third on the team in receptions (46) and yards (482), but was second in TD's (6). Ball will finish his career second all-time in career receptions with 79. Freshman quarterback Bernard Porter's outstanding first year campaign was also recognized with a 2nd team honor. Porter completed 61.8% of his passes for 2,343 yards and 23 TD's. The yards and touchdowns marks are both a single season program record.

On the other side, it was a trio of freshman who earned the post-season awards. Linebacker Maurice Dupleasis had a promising first season, as he was second on the team with 69 total tackles, adding 2.5 sacks, a team high 9 tackles for a loss, a pair of fumble recoveries and a pass break-up for good measure.
