Glendora, CA -- Citrus College Sophomore linebacker Dillon Fink was named the Southern California Football Association Central Conference Defensive Player of the Week late Tuesday night. Fink earned the honors thanks to his performance in Saturday evening's loss to Palomar College, and is the first Owl to earn the honors this season.

Fink had what was easily his best collegiate game of his young career on Saturday night, recording a game high 12 tackles, five solo and seven assisted. Of the 12 tackles, four were for a loss, including three sacks. All four tackles for a loss dropped the opposing team for a combined 22 yards. Fink also threw in a quarterback hurry for good measure.

Fink, in his second season with Citrus College, stands at 6'0 and weighs 205 pounds. Fink prepped at Glendora High School.

Fink and the rest of the Owls will try and get themselves in the win column this Saturday when they travel to State #8 College of the Canyons for a 6:00 PM kick-off.
