Owls Break into Rankings

After starting the season with a perfect 3-0 record, Citrus College broke into both ranking polls Tuesday.

The Owls (3-0) sit at No. 24 on the JC Athletic Bureau Football Poll and No. 25 on the CCC Sports Information Association Football Poll.

Over three games, Citrus averages 34.7 points per game and 408.3 yards per game, including 270.3 passing yards per game and 138.0 rushing yards per game.

Defensively, the Owls have made two interceptions, including one resulting in a touchdown, and have made 201 tackles and seven sacks.  

Citrus puts its undefeated record on the line on Saturday as LA Valley comes to town. The Owls and Monarchs kick off at 6 p.m.
