Citrus Moves Up in Both Football Polls
Citrus College moved up in both football polls after clinching at least a share of the American Metro League title.
The Owls, who are one of just three undefeated teams on the polls, moved up to No. 17 on the Junior College Athletic Bureau Poll and to No. 14 on the California Community College Sports Information Association Poll.
Citrus (9-0) continues to rank in the State in multiple statistical categories, including second with 30 touchdown passes, second with 15 defensive interceptions, fourth with five defensive touchdowns, fifth with 32 sacks and sixth with 2,484 passing yards.
The Owls look to secure their first conference championship since 2006 outright on Saturday at LA Southwest College.
