Citrus College's Arnez Madison became the latest Citrus College football player to continue his collegiate career as the freshman defensive back will continue his collegiate career at Southern Utah University.

"My time at Citrus was great," said Madison. "It's a family atmosphere from the athletic trainers, teachers, and the team. I got there kind of late but everyone was welcoming. Playing junior college football at Citrus gave me the opportunity to learn and grow and meet some lifelong friends."

Madison had 16 tackles on the year, including 11 solo efforts, and three breakups to help the Owls go undefeated on the year with an 11-0 record, win the American Metro League – the program's first conference championship since 2006 – and the American Division Championship.

"I'm excited to be going to SU," said Madison. "It's another step in my journey and I'm just ready to get to work!"
