Ten Owls Earn All-Conference Honors

After the Citrus College Football team finished the 2024 season with a 5-5 record, 10 Owls earned National Division, Central League honors. 

Jamahl Wilson, Sean Persson and Noah Priddy earned first-team offensive honors, while Jadakiss Vaokakala picked up first-team defensive honors. Keenan Eck, Kyle Ferm, Hunter Corbin, Kam Forest, Christian Sampson, and Joseph Enriquez all grabbed second-team defensive recognition. 

Wilson, freshman running back, played in all nine games for the Owls this season, leading the team in rushing with 881 yards on the season, 97.9 rushing yards per game and 7.1 yards per carry. Wilson scored nine rushing touchdowns during the season and one receiving touchdown while averaging 15.1 receiving yards per game. 

Persson, a freshman tight end, played in eight games for the Owls, leading the team in receiving with 26 receptions and 364 yards on the season while averaging 45.5 yards per game. Persson also led the Owls with six receiving touchdowns. 

Priddy, sophomore offensive lineman, helped Citrus College's offense that averaged 28.6 points per game and 380.6 yards of offense per game. 

Vaokakala, freshman defensive lineman, played in eight games for the Owls this season, recording 25 total tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack and one forced fumble. 

Eck, sophomore defensive lineman, played in all nine games for Citrus in 2024, recording 25 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and six sacks (2nd in division), one forced fumble and one fumble recovery one the season. 

Ferm, freshman linebacker, appeared in eight games for the Owls, recording 50 total tackles while averaging 6.3 tackles per game. Ferm also recorded nine tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception and one pass breakup on the year. 

Corbin, sophomore outside linebacker and defensive back, played in all nine games for the Owls, leading the team with 62 total tackles on the season. Corbin recorded five tackles for loss and two sacks on the season. 

Forest, a sophomore defensive back, played in eight games for Citrus this season recording eight pass breakups with 10 tackles on the year. 

Sampson, freshman defensive back, played in all nine games for the Owls, recording 25 total tackles, six pass breakups, two interceptions, 1.5 tackles for loss and one block on the season. 

Enriquez, freshman wide receiver, played in eight games for the Owls, averaging 20.6 yards per kick return and 13.3 yards per punt return on the year. Enriquez also recorded 119 receiving yards on the year with one touchdown.
