Glendora, CA -- The post-season brackets are out, and the Citrus College Men's Basketball team has earned the #17 seed in Southern California. That means that the Owls will be on the road in the first round of the playoffs for the first time in the most recent era. The Owls will be at #16 seed Cuesta College on Wednesday with a 7:00 PM tip time set.

Citrus finished their regular season last Friday night with a big win over WSC South Champion College of the Canyons. The win propelled the Owls to a 15-10 overall record on the year and second place finish in conference play. Cuesta meanwhile, finished fourth in the Western State Conference North Division with an 18-13 overall record and 5-5 conference mark.

This will be the fourth meeting between the two schools in the post-season in the last seven years. The two teams met back in 2007, 2010, and just last year in 2012. The Owls have won the previous three meetings, but all three had been in the Owls' Nest. It's Citrus' seventh straight post-season appearance. The Owls have also made the CCCAA Final Four four out of the last five years.
