Glendora, CA -- The 2013 Neil Edwards Classic came to a close on Sunday evening when the Citrus College Men's Basketball team played host to Chaffey College. Nothing positive happened for the Owls as the visiting Panthers handed Citrus it's worst loss in at least eight seasons.

Chaffey started out the contest like Citrus needed too, scoring seemingly at will. Before they knew it, the Owls were down big and never found a way to pull themselves out of that gigantic hole. Citrus shot a miserable 16.7% from the floor in the first half and 26.5% for the game. The Owls weren't much better at the charity stripe where they shot 58.6% for the game.

In the loss, Citrus was led by freshman John Roach who scored a game high 20 points. With the loss, the Owls fall to 4-2 on the young year.
