Valley Glen, CA -- After a disappointing road loss at Antelope Valley College on Wednesday, the Citrus College Men's Basketball team bounced back with a win on the road at LA Valley College. The win also exacted a bit of revenge for the Owls who were felled by the Monarchs earlier in the year.

It was pretty much a total team victory for Citrus on Saturday. Four players finished in double digits, and everyone played at least nine minutes. Sophomore Daniel Cheek led the way off the bench with a game high 17 points. Freshmen Steven Polee Jr., Justin Childress, and Chris Reyes all finished with 13, 11, and 10 respectively.

The Owls shot the ball well on the night, converting 50.8% of their shots from the field and 44.4% from three. Citrus continued to struggle at the charity stripe though, converting just 45.5% of their attempts in the 82-68 win.

With the win, Citrus improves to 14-8 overall and 7-4 in WSC South play. The Owls will close out their 2014 WSC South season on Wednesday when they host West Los Angeles College at 7:00 PM.
