Owls to Host Falcons in 2nd Round of Post-Season

Glendora, CA - After wrapping up their first conference title in five years, the Citrus College Men's Basketball team have learned their postseason fate. The Owls have been seeded #6 in the 19 team post-season tournament and will play host to #10 seed Cerritos College on Friday inside The Owls' Nest at 7:00 PM.

 Citrus College finished up their 2016-2017 season on Saturday afternoon with a 74-77 loss to Barstow College. Still the Owls finished at 23-6 overall on the year, for their best regular season record since 2012 when they went 28-2 and a perfect 12-0 in WSC South play. It's the 11th straight post-season berth for the Owls.

Citrus' opponent, Cerritos College went 21-6 on the season and finished 7-3 in the South Coast Conference South Division, finishing in second place behind, #2 overall seed El Camino College-Compton Center. The Falcons have won seven straight headed into Friday night's game.
