No. 3-ranked Citrus College scored the first points of the night and never looked back en route to an 85-77 victory over Antelope Valley College. The Owls have now won 15 games in a row, which is the longest win streak in the Brett Lauer era.
The Owls improve to 18-2 overall and remain atop the Western State Conference-South standings at 6-0.
Six Owls finished the night in double figures, led by Jayden Johnston's 17 points (5-for-9). Anthony Tello followed with 15 points (5-for-12), while Chris Chiles, Rudy Suarez, Jamal Briscoe and Uriah Foster each chipped 11 points.
Tello led the rebounding effort with seven boards, while Chiles finished with four steals.
Citrus returns home to host the West LA on Wednesday for its Coaches vs. Cancer game, which is set to tip off at 7:30 p.m.
