No. 27-ranked Citrus College picked up its third win in a row Wednesday night with a 99-71 victory over the College of the Canyons.
The Owls remain undefeated in Western State Conference action with a 3-0 mark and improve to 12-5 on the year. The Cougars slip to 7-10 overall and will have to look elsewhere for their first conference win (0-3).
Four Owls finished the night in double figures, led by Malik Khouzam with 17 points (5-for-7). Rudy Suarez followed with 15 points (4-for-7), while Tyrel Creger (5-for-12) and Myles Blackman (5-for-9) rounded out the quartet with 12 and 10 points, respectively.
The Owls won the glass 40-to-34 with Grant Martin grabbing a team-high six rebounds.
Citrus heads to LA Valley on Saturday for a 3 p.m. tipoff, looking to keep rolling.
