Both Citrus Basketball Teams to Host Playoffs
Both Citrus College basketball teams are in the postseason for the first time in five years and will each host their first playoff matchups.
The Owl men (21-7) picked up the sixth seed in the South to earn a first-round bye and will host the winner of 11th-seeded Cerro Coso (22-6) and 22nd-seeded L.A. Trade-Tech (16-12) on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Citrus' women (19-9) earned the No. 12 seed in the South and will host 21st-seeded Riverside City College (14-14) on Wednesday, also at 7 p.m. It marks the first time in recent history the Owl women have hosted a playoff game.
