No. 15-ranked Citrus College battled but came up just short in a 68-64 loss to No. 16-ranked Cerro Coso College in the second round of the 3C2A SoCal Regional.
The Owls end their season with a 21-8 mark, while the Coyotes improve to 24-6 and advance to the next round.
Only two Owls finished the night in double figures, led by Tyrel Creger's 23 points (6-for-18). JJ Mitchell followed with 16 points (6-for-17) and grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds – the fourth-most in a single game in program history.
