Citrus College Men's Basketball earned an 84-68 win over Allan Hancock College last Friday night, November 15th.
Citrus College improves to 4-1 on the season while Allan Hancock goes to 2-2 on the year.
The Owls had three starters in double figures, led by KJ Perry with 17 points, followed by Blake Ballard with 16 points and Pejan Slater with 15 points. Brady Cook and Ryan Raad had eight and nine points off the bench, respectively. Pejan Slater led the Owls with seven rebounds while point guards Amiri Meadows and Malik Khouzam each recorded three assists.
The Owls' defense was solid yet again, forcing 19 turnovers while only allowing the Bulldogs to shoot 36.4% from the field and 13.6% from three-point range. The Owls' largest lead was 18 and although they only hit one three-pointer, they outscored the Bulldogs 23-10 in points off turnovers and scored eight more points in the paint.
Citrus College will be on the road again to take on Orange Coast College tomorrow, Tuesday, November 19th at 1 p.m.
