Owls Take Fourth at SBCC Invite

Santa Barbara, CA -- The Citrus College Men's Golf team finished fourth at the San Barbara Invitational. Sophomore Jacob Rodriguez led the two day tournament for the Owls, finishing seven strokes better than any other Owl.

Rodriguez finished with a 155 after shooting rounds of 77 and 78. Freshman John Gaynor had a healthy two day invite, with a 79 and 84 good for second on the Owls and a total of 163. Sophomore Daniel Olivas wasn't too far behind him with a total of 163, shooting an 84 on day one and 82 on day two. Freshman Homerson So and Ricky Hunter were the other two scoring individuals for the Owls with a two round combined total of 172 and 181 respectively.
The Owls will be back at conference competition on Monday when they take part in the WSC Ventura Event.
