So Paces Owl Effort at Eagle Classic

San Jacinto, CA -- Sophomore Homerson So paced the Citrus College Men's Golf effort at the 2014 Eagle Golf Classic hosted by Mt. San Jacinto College. So shot a team low round of 74, as the Owls finished 12th out of the 17 competing teams.

So's 74 was just three strokes better than sophomore Matt Nolan who finished with a 77. Freshman Takakazu Furukawa had one of his better rounds of the early year with a 79, while freshman Cody Cragg and sophomore Joshua Davis rounded out the scoring with rounds of 82 and 84. As a team, Citrus shot a 396, in what ended up being a tight team battle. Just 10 strokes separated fourth place from 12th place. So finished tied for 13th overall individually.

The Owls will turn right back around and keep their WSC schedule going on Monday when they travel to Bakersfield, CA to take part in the WSC Event hosted by Bakersfield College at Rio Bravo Country Club. Tee-time is set for 10:00 AM.
