Owls Drop to Seventh at WSC Ventura

Ventura, CA -- The Citrus College Men's Golf team dropped to seventh place this past week at the Western State Conference Match hosted by Ventura College. The Owls finished with a team score of 402, in what was really a tight match in the middle as just 11 strokes separated the third and seventh place teams.

Sophomore Matt Nolan was the low man in the clubhouse with a round of 79. Freshman Joshua Herman had an 80, while sophomores Joshua Davis and Homerson So along with freshman Takakazu Furukawa all had 81's.

The Owls will be back out on the links this coming Monday when they take part in the WSC Antelope Valley Event. Tee-time is set for 10:00 AM at Antelope Valley Country Club in Palmdale.
