Palmdale, CA -- After taking a week off from action, the Citrus College Men's Golf team returned to Western State Conference match play on Monday afternoon at the WSC Event hosted by Antelope Valley College and Antelope Valley Country Club. The Owls struggled with the high winds on the day and finished in seventh place with a team score of 415.

Sophomore Justin Hung led the way with a round of 78, which was good enough to place him in a three way tie for 15th individually. After that it was a slew of 80's. Freshman Samuel Mangiaterra carded an 80, while freshman Tyler Hoefferle came into the clubhouse with an 83. Freshmen James Bragger and Tyler Bliss had the final two scoring rounds, with an 85 and 89 respectively.

The Owls will be back in action this coming Monday when they travel to Santa Maria, CA for the WSC Event hosted by Allan Hancock College at Santa Maria Country Club. Tee-time is set for 10:30 AM.
