Citrus Opens the 2022 Season
In the first event of the season, Citrus College took seventh as a team and saw one Owl grab a top-10 finish.
The Owls finished with a 439 team score, beating out Antelope Valley College. Host College of the Canyons won its event with a score of 385.
John Dearth led the Owls with an 81 to tie for 10th on the individual leaderboard. Cortez Herrera and Kerry Valenzuela each posted 86's, while Adrian Kennedy finished with a 91 and Alex Alvarez rounded out the scorers with a 95.
Citrus heads to River Ridge GC on Monday for its next event, hosted by Ventura College.
