Citrus Claims Third in WSC #7

Citrus College hosted Western State Conference #7 Monday afternoon at San Dimas Golf Course. The Owls finished third with a team score of 375, 4 strokes behind second-place Santa Barbara City College, and 11 strokes behind first-place College of the Canyons. 

Chris Ruiz led the Owls, scoring a 70, which was two under par and included six birdies. Ashtin Mount followed with a 75, while Kabir Chadha and Daichi Nishisu both scored 76. Alex Morales rounded out the card with a 78, while Carter Gauthier was the Owls' drop score with an 82.

The Owls will be back in action for Western State Conference #8 @ Rancho Vista Golf Course.
