El Cajon, CA (Men's Soccer) -- For the second straight game, the Citrus College Men's Soccer team was felled by a single goal margin. For the second straight game, the Owls were held scoreless, and for the second straight game it was a penalty kick that did them in, in a 1-0 loss at Cuyamaca College.
Sophomore William Beltran tended goal for the Owls again on Friday afternoon. Beltran played well in goal, but again was beat by a penalty kick. It was just the second loss for Citrus against the Coyotes in the last five years.
With the loss, Citrus drops to 0-2 on the season. The Owls will be back home on Tuesday when they play host to Chaffey College in a battle of the 210 Freeway. First touch is set for 7:00 PM in Citrus Stadium.
