Glendale, CA (Men's Soccer) -- After recording five goals in a win against Santa Monica on Friday, the Citrus College Men's Soccer team kept their offense rolling on the road on Tuesday. The Owls scored four goals and won their second consecutive match in a 4-2 victory over Glendale College.

Sophomore Anier Valdez led the way for the Owls. Arguably the hottest scorer in the State right now, Valdez followed up his hat trick on Friday with a pair of scores on Tuesday night to bring him to six total goals on the year.

Fellow sophomore Diego Mercado also scored a goal for the Owls, his fourth of the season, and freshman Pedro Felix who had been sidelined the last few weeks returned to action in a big way with a score of his own, his third of the season.

With the win, Citrus improves to 4-5-3 on the year and 3-3-2 in Western State Conference play. Tuesday's match signals the end of the first round of conference play. The Owls will start round two on Friday when they host LA Mission College. First touch is set for 2:00 PM.
