Santa Maria, CA -- For the first time this year, the Citrus College Men's Soccer team lost their third straight contest. Allan Hancock College handed the Owls their third L in a row on Friday afternoon 3-1.

The Bulldogs would get on the board first with a score just nine minutes into the contest. Citrus answered back 10 minutes later when Cesar Yerena first of the year, when he buried a penalty kick to make it 1-1.

That's all Citrus would get though as Hancock scored twice more, one more in the first half and another in the second half en route to defeating the Owls. As they have been wont to do all year, the Owls went shot for shot with Allan Hancock, but they weren't nearly as accurate as the Bulldogs as their only goal came on that PK.

With the loss, Citrus falls to 4-10-4 overall and 3-8-3 in Western State Conference play. Citrus will be on the road yet again this coming Tuesday when they travel to Santa Monica College to take on the Corsairs. That match is set for a 3:00 PM start time.
