Oxnard, CA -- The Citrus College Men's Soccer team hit the road on Friday afternoon to take on first place Oxnard College. The Owls were overmatched against the host Condors, being held to four total shots and getting shutout 3-0.

The Owls mustered just four total shots, three in the first half and one more in the second. In  addition, Citrus earned just a single corner on the afternoon. Citrus tried to buckle down on the defensive side of the things, but gave up goals in the 32nd and 44th minutes, along with a penalty kick in the 65th.

With the loss, Citrus drops to 3-8-4 overall and 2-6-3 in WSC play. The Owls will take Tuesday off before resuming WSC play at home on Friday against Moorpark College at 3:00 PM.
