Owls Still Searching for First Goal After Being Blanked at Mesa

San Diego, CA -- The Citrus College Men's Soccer team is still in search of their first goal in the 2015 season after their first two games. The Owls were blanked again on Friday afternoon, in a 1-0 loss at San Diego Mesa College.

Despite the disappointing outcome, Citrus found themselves very much in the game on Friday, keeping pace offensively with the Olympians. Citrus took just one fewer shot than Mesa in the first half, and took four more than the Olympians in the second half. Unfortunately for Citrus, San Diego Mesa did what the Owls couldn't by finding the back of the net in the 29th minute.

Citrus will look to reverse their fortunes on Tuesday when they host Palomar College in Citrus' home opener. The Owls will face the Comets at 4:30 PM.
