Glendale, CA — The Citrus College Men's Soccer programs early season woes continued on Tuesday evening when the Owls dropped their season opener. The Owls mustered just four total shots and were shutout for the third time this year in a 1-0 loss.
Glendale wasted little time with a strike in the 17th minute. Glendale got off three total shots in each half, while Citrus got just one in the first, but did match the Vaqueros three in the second. Sophomore keeper Bryan Landgreen stopped five shots on the night, giving up just the single goal.
With the loss, Citrus drops to 0-4-1 overall and 0-1-0 in WSC play. The Owls will be at home on Friday when they host Los Angeles Mission College at 2:00 PM.
